Lifts and complaints

Lifts and complaints were the top two issues in the survey. Both will be measured and published here every month from October.

Lift uptime

Lifts were the lowest-rated service (3.30 of 5) and the top priority for 54% of households. The lift contract costs ₹16 L a year. Batteries cost ₹6.75 L last year.

No data published yet. The first monthly lift report will be published here by 10 October 2026, covering September. It will show, for each wing: the number of breakdowns, the hours each lift was out of service, the uptime percentage, and the time taken to restore service, from the lift contractor's call log checked against the security register.

Complaint resolution

Half the households had raised a complaint in the last six months. Reporting was easy (3.90 of 5). Getting it closed was not: ownership scored 3.05, time to resolve 3.13.

No data published yet. From October, a monthly table from MyGate: complaints opened and closed by category, how many were still open at month-end, and the average days to close. The standard the MC has set is: acknowledged within four working hours, an update every 48 hours, closed only when the resident confirms.
